OMG i have had such a busy month; I have just come back from Thailand and it was fantastic but I'm way to tired right now to tell you about it so i will tell you all about it tomorrow and what else I got up to this month :)

Bug's Life

I’ve never wanted to be an urban model; I lack in the self confident department and I definitely lack the urban body department, but all of that is going to change thanks to a guy I like to call Bug’s Life.
I don’t exactly know what Bug’s Life job entails, but from talking to his now ex girlfriend Little Bits he works in the urban world. He helps make music video for British rappers like N-Dubz, Ghetts and Tinchy Stryder, interviewing and finding urban models for photo shoots, music video’s and promotion work.
One day I was talking to Little Bits and she was say Bug’s Life need girls to promote a new jean collection which is meant to define the booty. (So you need a bum for this job) I don’t have the biggest bum in the world but I don’t have the smallest one either, I told Little Bits to put my name forward. Me being me forgot about this till I went on his Facebook and saw some girls modeling jeans (for the record I can safely say my bum was bigger and nicely shaped then some of these models)
I called Little Bits and asked how comes I never got it, she laughed down the phone and told me Bug’s Life said my butt was to small and I was to skinny, we both laughed about it and I thought nothing more off it.
A few moths later I saw on Bug’s Life Facebook he wanted models for a music video; I thought it would be fun and once again I told my Little Bits to put my name forward. I forgot all about it until I saw the music video and noticed every girl was either white or light skinned. When I asked Little Bits she told me Bug’s Life said I was to dark and I’m to dark to become an urban glamour model. I hit the roof, okay he said my butt was small, that didn’t bother me but telling me I’m to dark is BANG RIGHT OUT OFF ORDER.
Black people have been discriminated most of there lives because off our skin colour. We have been giver names, looked down upon and have a bad stereotype; so for some boy to tell me I’m to dark to become an urban model is dame right ridiculous, URBAN IS BLACK. This is why the white girls who are in the industry get butt implants.
Bug’s Life has now pushed me to enter the urban modeling world, to show him that black girls can never be to DARK or SKINNY to be an urban model.

I love Alica Keys, love her. So far I own all her albums and I have not been disappointed YET. Alica's newest album 'The Element of Freedom' is defiantly one to have in your CD collection packed with slow, soulful, love songs you will really want to sit down and unwind.

Mr N; Is age nothing but a number?

The moment I laid my eyes upon Mr N I knew I wanted him. Where perfect together, I can talk to him day and night, we have the same interest in movies and music, the more I see him the more my feelings grow. There just two things stopping me from being with him 1. He’s my boss and 2. He’s 11 years older then me.
Mr N doesn’t know I like him and he doesn’t know my age either but he knows I’m young. When I asked Mr N to guess my age he said 16, but then he used his common sense and said 18 (only because I work in a bar so you have to be 18) what Mr N doesn’t relies is that he just halved my age.
I look a lot younger then my actual age and my body doesn’t help the situation, with my size 8 frame & B cup breast; I look like a walking 16 year old. (My sister looks older then me) not that I’m complaining because when I hit 40 I should look like I’m still in my late 20.
I’m the sort of person who hates giving out m age, it’s not because I’m getting older I just think what’s the point, it’s just a number. To me your age does not define how mature you are as a person or how much responsibility you hold.
Mr N is only 11 years older then me, it really doesn’t sound that much but put it in the phase of I’m in my early stage of 19 and he is in his late stage of 30 there is where the different lies, now he sounds old, now the age gap sounds BIG, why is this? When I’m 62 he’s only 73 (doesn’t sound that big no does it.)
Oh well; at the end of the day all I can do is just pray to faith that Mr N will come around and think like me age is nothing but a number.

This is my first post as a Blogger

Hello every one,

My name is Lela Brown (cool name right lol) I've been hearing so much about 'Blogger' that i thought I might try it out for my self. It's not easy to set up though and I'm going to look into it more over the weekend.
My plan is to write a blog at least once a week twice if your lucky lol try to include pictures and video of things I like and dislike. My famous quotes about life e.g. 'You have to invest in the pound to get quality in your life'. Celebrity's famous quotes 'I always say don't make plans, make options' Jennifer Aniston; or if i just want to have a good old moan lol.
I'll be back on the weekend (if i remember) to write my first really blog, so you can know a bit more about me and what I like, and make this blog feel like Lela's World
